Learn With Aloha's Hula Classes performed at the South Pacific Islands Festival in Chandler and the Aloha Festival in Tempe. We are preparing for our 2026 performances starting with Copa Cultural Night on February 21st, 2026 at the Copper Sky Recreation Center in Maricopa.

We have ongoing Hula Dancing classes in Maricopa for ages 6-12, teens, and adults for boys and girls and all levels of experience. We are an ESA Vendor and accept Class Wallet. Our Keiki (kids) meet on Wednesdays and our Teen and Adult classes meet on Fridays. Click the blue box below to sign up.

We have hula classes in Casa Grande starting on Thursday, January 8th for boys and girls ages 5-11. Registration is open till Jan. 5th! Sign up on the Casa Grande Recreation Center website or by clicking the blue box below.
If you cannot participate in this session, we have another 6 week session planned to start on Feb. 19th. Registration for this 2nd session begins on Jan. 5th, 2026.

We have taught kids and adult Hula Dancing, Tahitian Dancing, and Ukulele Classes. We form classes based on the amount of people signed up for that particular class and age group, so please sign up below and let us know what you are interested in learning as there are other Polynesian cultures listed on our interest form.

Workshops and performances bring more cultural awareness and unity. Need a business retreat? A school assembly? Party? The Aloha Spirit is a way of life of uplifting others, which we strive to do in our community. This year we are hosting free ribbon lei workshops until April 11, 2026, which is the Maricopa Relay for Life Event at Desert Wind Middle School. We will provide the supplies and teach how to make a ribbon lei if the participant makes a lei for a local cancer survivor at the workshop, which we will distribute at the Relay for Life Event. Janelle and Jonathan Gomez are a married couple, both part Native Hawaiian, and have a Master's in Education. They moved from Hau'ula to Maricopa in 2021. They danced hula with Hui Ho'oulu Aloha and Ring of Fire. Janelle taught Hawaiian Studies ages Prek-3rd grade in Laie. They both love sharing their culture!

Our instructor, Jessica Jordan, has trained and performed with several renowned groups, including Tamaeva Arii, Apetahi, and Ori Tahiti O Leilani, and is an original member of Tevakanui. Her performance highlights include dancing at the grand opening of Jimmy Buffet’s venue in Las Vegas, college football games, and May Day Lei Day Festiv

Meet Kristi Dudoit, our 'Ukulele Instructor! She moved to Maricopa from Hawaii a few years ago and loved playing 'ukulele with her friends and family on Molokai and Oahu. She has been involved with teaching and sharing music most of her life and is continuing her passion for music in our Arizona community.

The naupaka flower looks like half grows by the sea and half by the mountain due to a legend of forbidden love. When Naupaka is put together as a whole, it is like locals physically separated from their native home, however our aloha spirit and love for our culture remains together with us no matter where we are.
